This may not be what you want to hear, but I think this is what you NEED to hear.
Granted- I'm excited about the recent changes in the United States. I've heard the word 'God' used by politicians more recently than I have heard it in the last few years, but if anything, this will give the Christians and patriots only a brief respite from the perversions that the US have entertained recently, unless the changes are from the soul of the people, and not the politics. The patriots have fought for the country, and some would say that we were one election away from losing the country altogether; however, these perceived gains will truly amount to nothing of substance if the Believers don't stop focusing on the man-made political sphere, and start focusing on the souls of the people. Sure- a person can be persuaded by any number of logical arguments, if that argument is persuasive enough and appeals to someone's selfish nature, or aligns more closely to their constructed morality than another opinion. The problem is, is that those changes are temporary- tenuous at best, until the person's morality changes with the times. There will be no lasting change unless we, the Believers, the light of the world, venture out and touch a person's soul. Nothing that will last more than an election or two will be gained by altering a person's political alignment. What we need to do is affect a soul, a living being- to wake them up to what is eternal and not what is temporary. There have been a few popular (in certain spheres) sayings related to lions and sheep: the lion cares not about the opinion of sheep; I'm here to wake up the lions and not convince the sheep, etc. These are all well and good, but there's a more important mission than that. It's for the Sons of Thunder, the children of the Lion of Judah.

After a lengthy gap between media posts, while I awaited permanent exile or revolution, I returned to explore social media to see if there was any place for me at this point.
...and I'm not convinced that there actually is any place for me any longer. I created an Instagram account, and found- yes, I might be a social media idiot- there is a 'Creator Account' which appealed to me. I found that, to complete the eight steps of Creator Account Bliss, I need to select some accounts that I follow/appreciate/pique my interest (I'm not in front of Instagram right now, so I don't remember exactly what it was called). I scrolled for a minute or so to see what accounts I could follow, and found that there wasn't a single White person on that list. Now, I'm not necessarily racist, but given that I'm more conservative/right wing than some, I'm more sensitive to the issues than many might be, and couldn't help but notice this. Is Instagram (maybe owned by Facebook/Meta now? Sorry- I've been banned for a while. I mean I've been away from social media for a while) still a little DEIish for the average patriot's taste? Or are there just ZERO Caucasian writing talents available today? Is it just that I'm simply a couple of Irish whiskeys into a night of misconceptions? I'm really not left with a great feeling about my first foray into the Social Media World, but I'm not entirely sure that I should be surprised.... |
